Research interests:
My Ph. D. project was a biogeographical analysis of the Eastern Arc Mountains, East Africa, based on a number of Linyphiid (Spider) genera. The project was supervised by Nikolaj Scharff and funded by the Centre for Tropical Biodiversity, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. An important part of my work has been computer aided cladistics and taxonomy including
databases, i.e. DELTA via Taxasoft and Microsoft Access, cladistics software such as PAUP,
McClade, Hennig86, PeeWee and NoNa, and computer graphics, mainly using CorelDraw! During
my studies I have gained considerable experience in these fields.
