Research:
Quaternary zoology: Faunal history of Greenland mainly addressing: palaeo-ecological reconstructions, palaeo-geography, climatic changes and microevolution.Focal subject: the prehistoric avifauna of Greenland covering the period from c. 4500 BP to present time.
Archaeo-zoology:The husbandry of Danish prehistoric sites from the Iron Age, Viking Age and the Middle Ages.
Teaching:
Courses: Bone identification for archaeologists.
