Ornithology: altitudinal migration of montane forest bird species in eastern Africa.

Biogeography: patterns of distribution among sub-Saharan vertebrates. With principal investigators Drs. Carsten Rahbek, Neil Burgess, Jens B. Rasmussen and professor Jon Fjeldså.

Conservation: using the distributions of approximately 4000 spp. of African vertebrates to identify priority areas for conservation with principal project leaders: Drs. Carsten Rahbek, Neil Burgess, Jens B. Rasmussen and professor Jon Fjeldså.

Administration: responsible for the ongoing updating and improving of the ZMUC databases with approximately 4000 spp. of sub-Saharan African vertebrate.

Other Information: Dr. Carsten Rahbek is the principal Investigator for ZMUC for the research program "A continent-wide blueprint for conservation action in Africa: Conservation priorities integrating multiple animal groups, human development and resource limitation", for who I have been working for a number of years.
