Methodologies for species richness sampling
Methodologies have been developed for rapid assessment for comparative studies of avian communities in tropical montane forests (N. Krabbe and B.O. Poulsen). Modelling of species distributions and variations in species richness in Andean montane areas has been done using GIS and remotely sensed environmental data (P. Nygaard Andersen, N.M. Williams, cand.scient. projects, N. Krabbe, with F. Skov, Danish Environmental Research Institute).
