Prehistoric fishing
A study of fishing in Denmark during the Ertebølle period as evidenced by subfossil fishbones has been completed* (I.B. Enghoff, ph.d project). A survey of fishing in the Baltic and North Sea regions during the Iron Age, Viking Age and the Middle Ages, based on litterature and original fishbone analyses, has been completed (I. B. Enghoff).
