
Pollen analyses and datings
In all 33 pollen-datings have been carried out in connection with the ongoing research projects of the Museum's palaeozoologists. An investigation of recent pollen influx into two lakes on the island of Zealand has been continued. A large-scale pollen analytical investigation from the site Dronningemaen, Svendborg, Fyn, covering the time span from the Atlantic period to AD 1000 has been completed (I. Sørensen). An investigation of the landscape and vegetation around the Iron Age burial place Himlingøje, Zealand has been completed* (I. Sørensen, with K. Dalsgaard and P. Nørnberg, University of Aarhus).
