- Head length at vibrissa about equal to length at antennal insertion.
- Claws longer than fifth tarsomere in both sexes.
- Infrasquamal setae present.
- Abdominal tergites 3-4 each with a pattern of distinct black spots.
- Male abdominal tergite 6 reduced.
- Terminalia reddish (at least partly).
- Phallus with dorsal plate divided longitudinally.
- Phallus with desclerotised strip (hinge) at base of dorsal plate.
