Diagnosis:
- Parafacials strong.
- Antennal arista almost bare (exceptions occur).
- Eye green (exceptions occur).
- Postgena with at least some black setae close to genal suture; often most setae black.
- Male syntergosternite 7+8 black.
- Male sternite 9 swollen at level of gonopod attachment.
