Diagnosis:
- Postalar wall setose.
- Male mid femur with ctenidium of flattened spines.
- Tegula blackish, strongly contrasting to orangish basicosta.
- Male sternite 5 deeply cleft with almost parallel sides (except O. terminalis and O. varia).
- Vesica elongated.
- Phallus with three conducting styli.
- Larva I with convoluted festoon-like oral ridge.
- Larva I with rim of spiracular cavity microtrichose.
