I am a graduate student, interested in the adult behaviour, larval development
and phylogeny of the family Sarcophaginae, particularly in South Africa.
I am currently working on a digital taxonomic key to the Sarcophaginae based on
the male genitalia and am interested in the evolution and functioning of the
checkerboard pattern with regards to its role in the biology of this group.
