World of Flesh Flies
Pablo Ricardo Mulieri

Pablo in PatagoniaOxysarcodexia paulistanensis My interest in the study of Sarcophagidae was initially focused on the study of the species assemblage of calyptrate Diptera along urban-rural gradients.

I have obtained my PhD (2008) with a study of the Sarcophagidae of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I am currently conducting long term studies on the biodiversity of the Sarcophagidae of Argentina. My country has many different environments, housing a fascinating fauna of Diptera, with many endemic species.

I have been collecting flesh-flies in several natural areas of Argentina, and I am working with Dr. Mariluis on a revision of the Patagonian flesh fly fauna.
