DK-TAF access is offered in the framework of the SYNTHESYS programme. SYNTHESYS (SYNTHEsis of SYStematic Resources) is an Integrated Infrastructures Initiative funded under the European Union's 6th framework programme. In addition to access programmes in the 11 participating countries, SYNTHESYS includes a number of networking activities.

SYNTHESYS is an initiative of the Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities (CETAF, www.cetaf.org) and is coordinated by the Natural History Museum of London .

The first deadline for applications to DK-TAF and its European counterparts is September 17th 2004.

Further information can be found on SYNTHESYS' homepage, www.synthesys.info where you can register to be kept informed of SYNTHESYS progress.
