Studying
the movements of birds
We study most aspects of ornithology but with a primary focus on bird migration, especially the orientation system of long-distance migrants.
Lab research also covers animal orientation and radio tracking in general.
Other primary research areas include all aspects of the distribution,
evolution and ecology of birds.
The lab is home to the Copenhagen Bird Ringing Centre of the
Zoological Museum, Natural History Museum of Denmark.
